Broadband Mapping Data

Following guidelines set by the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA), the Kansas State Broadband Initiative (KSBI) maintains geographic data of availability, speed, and location of broadband services, as well as broadband services used by community anchor institutions (e.g., schools, libraries and hospitals). Information on broadband availability is submitted by broadband providers on a voluntary basis, while community anchor information is collected directly from the institutions, their trade associations, or other sources. There are multiple means of exploring this information.
